Converting from Office 2003 to Office 2010

A one day course is available to help in the transition between Versions of Microsoft Office. During this day's tuition, all programs will be covered, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Changing from Microsoft Office 2003 to Office 2010 is not a difficult transition. You only need to learn a new approach and understand the new face of Office.

Gone are our old Menus, never to return and remember all those occasions when you had to search for the missing Toolbars, well not any more.

In lieu of our old friends, we have a new look, starting with the FILE Button (Now known as BackStage), replacing our good old friend the File Menu. All your old favourites can be found in here.

Next we have a great new invention called the Quick Access Bar. Here you can put all your commonly used buttons for easy access.

Then we have the Tabs Bar, taking over from the old Menus. When you click on the Home option, instead of a drop down menu, you get a whole set of icons knows as a Ribbon.

Each option on the Ribbon Bar gives you a new set of icons, and then the icons are grouped into categories, i.e. Font, Paragraph, clipboard etc.

Here are sample Word Ribbons:
